EFFECTIVE · OCTOBER 30, 2026

Shadow Detective is a product of CL Henschel LLC, doing business as Henschel Technologies, of Dover, Delaware, United States (“we,” “us”). The product is delivered under the Henschel AI-Shield™ service. This policy explains what personal information we handle through the shadowdetective.ai website and, in summary, through the Shadow Detective product. Contact: [email protected] · [email protected].

1. What this policy covers

This policy covers (a) this website, including the Early List form, and (b) a summary of the product’s data practices. The full plain-language account of the product’s practices is the companion page, What We Collect. Where a customer’s own agreement with us says something more specific about their deployment, that agreement governs their deployment.

2. Information we collect on this website

Early List. When you join the Early List, you give us your name, email address, and (optionally) your company. That is the whole form.

Operating the site. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs of visits (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) so the site can run and be secured. We do not run advertising trackers or cross-site tracking on this website.

Email. If you email us, we keep the message as a business record.

3. How we use it

Early List information is used for one purpose: to tell you when Shadow Detective’s first cases open, and to answer you if you write to us. We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

4. The product, in brief

Shadow Detective records the use of AI tools in a customer’s environment — which tools, on which machines, when, and the evidence — never prompts, responses, or file content. Those records (the Living Register) live in the customer’s own environment, under the customer’s control. On a self-run install, detection records are not transmitted to us; the product’s only outbound calls fetch signed definition and product updates, and licenses are verified offline on the machine. On plans that run on a hosted console, or where we manage the service for a customer, Register reports are processed on that console as part of delivering the service the customer chose. Detail: What We Collect.

5. Sharing

We share personal information only with: (a) the service providers who run this website and our email, under their own terms, so the site and mail can function; (b) authorities where the law requires it; and (c) a successor if the business is transferred, in which case this policy or an equivalent will continue to apply. That is the whole list.

6. Retention

Early List information is kept until launch communications conclude, and is deleted sooner at any time on request — write to [email protected]. Product Register data is the customer’s record, in the customer’s environment, kept under the customer’s control and retention decisions.

7. Your choices and rights

You may ask us, at [email protected], what Early List information we hold about you, and ask for its correction or deletion. We respond within 30 days. If you are entitled to additional rights under the law where you live, we will honor them.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold. No method of storage or transmission is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise.

9. Children

This website and product are for businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
